Clifton Smith, DO

Chairperson

Dr. Smith is a psychiatrist who has worked with children and adults. Collectively, he has 25 years as an experienced healthcare provider and physician executive. He views mentoring and coaching as critical tools for resilience and success. Leading the ETM team, his goal is to effectively implore strategies, which facilitate optimal service delivery to families and community partners.

Dolores B. Malcolm

Vice Chairperson

Dolores B. Malcolm is the middle daughter of three girls, whose parents instilled in her the principles of fairness, respect for and service to others. With education as her chosen career, she worked in the St. Louis Public Schools for 40 years in varied positions from teacher, coordinator, and projects specialist to administrator. During this tenure she received certification as a Reading Specialist and joined The International Reading Association [IRA]. She became an officer of the 100,000-member worldwide association which led to her elected positions as a member of the Board of Directors and also as the 2nd African American Vice-President, President-Elect and President in their then 42-year history [1993-96.] In these positions she has traveled across the United States and internationally to speak about literacy. Upon retirement she served as an evaluator for Springboard/Young Audiences programs and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Missouri St. Louis.

Ralonda Jasper

Treasurer
Ms. Jasper has worked in sales and account management for over 20 years. She currently works for Equifax Workforce Solutions as a strategic business consultant. She received a B.S. in Consumer Science from Howard University and a Master of Business Administration from Saint Louis University. In addition to Enable Tables Media, Inc. Ralonda serves on the Board of Regents for Howard University College of Pharmacy. She has served on several non-profit boards including Beyond Housing, and the Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis. Her community mission aligns with one of her favorite quotes “we have been blessed to bless others”.

Becky Alexander

Social Services Consultant
Social Services consultant, Becky Alexander’s 30 years of community service as a MSW level social worker has made a difference here in North Carolina. She has always incorporated her experience as a social justice advocate into her work in child and adult protective services. Because of her broad community network of resources, she continues to bring together opportunities for ETM to serve the North and South Carolina families.

Adrian Beard

Melvin Shaw

Marketing and Fundraising Consulting Expert
Melvin Shaw is a nationally recognized consulting expert for creating programs that combine marketing and fundraising to maximize revenue and volunteer/ engagement with 40+ years of experience. As he says, he has had the opportunity to live his passion working with nonprofits and institutions of higher education to enhance their image and growth, including as the VP of marketing for UNCF. He created and produced the Lou Rawls Telethon, raising more than $500 million in annual gifts to date.
